Mu Kappa Chapter Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, East Georgia Regional Medical Center, and Georgia Southern University School of Nursing are co-sponsors of a program and dinner for Georgia Southern University nursing students who were invited to membership in Mu Kappa this semester.

The Mu Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International at Georgia Southern University in cooperation with The Professional Nurses’ Network Chapter of the Georgia Nurses Association will hold its third Research and Practice Day, April 6, 2009.

INDUCTION CEREMONY -DECEMBER 11, 2008

The Induction Ceremony, Mu Kappa Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International, was held at Georgia Southern University in the Nessmith Lane Building from 3:00 – 4:30 PM.

SECOND ANNUAL POSTER SESSION – NOVEMBER 17, 2008

The School of Nursing faculty and students at Georgia Southern University held this all-day event to display the research, educational initiatives, and other scholarly activities produced by faculty and students. Posters were displayed in the halls throughout the Nursing Building.

RESEARCH AND PRACTICE DAY – APRIL 7, 2008

The Mu Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International at Georgia Southern University in cooperation with The Professional Nurses’ Network Chapter of the Georgia Nurses Association will present the second  Research and Practice Day, April 7, 2008.

MU KAPPA INDUCTION CEREMONY – DECEMBER 6, 2007

The Induction Ceremony, Mu Kappa Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International, will be held December 6, 2007 at Georgia Southern University in the Nesmith Lane Building’s Assembly Hall from 3:00 – 4:30 PM.

The featured speaker, Dr. Jean Bartels, Professor and Chair, School of Nursing, Georgia Southern University will present Professional Leadership: Knowing Your Values, Framing Your Future.
