Waters Professors and Waters Faculty Fellows Announced
Eight Georgia Southern University faculty members from the Waters College of Health Professions (WCHP) have been selected as the inaugural group of Waters Professors and Waters Faculty Fellows. The program is part of the endowment established by Don and Cindy Waters.
A total of 21 faculty members from the college submitted applications which were reviewed by the WCHP Faculty Affairs Committee and recommendations were made to the WCHP Dean’s Office for review by the department chairs, associate deans and dean. Each recipient will receive a monetary award to use toward teaching, research, service and/or clinical activities. The position is renewable for up to five years contingent on satisfactory annual performance reviews.
