Wayne M. Johnson is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus in Savannah, Georgia. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Cum Laude) from Louisiana State University.
Johnson’s current research interests include additive manufacturing, biomedical engineering, and engineering education. He has published 13 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 27 papers in peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and given 12 technical presentations. He has been a member of several professional bodies, including the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
