Asked and Received
This past year, Rochelle Lee, Ed.D., assistant professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences, challenged her colleagues to support the period pantry and food pantry on Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus. The response received by Lee’s call was overwhelming with over 22,261 individual pieces of feminine hygiene products donated in addition to 36 tubes of toothpaste, 73 bars of soap, 66 sticks of deodorant and a host of food items this calendar year. Lee plans to carry the momentum into 2022 and continue accepting donations on behalf of the period pantry and food pantry. Those interested in making a donation can find donation boxes in the main office of the Department of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences.
