What is Camp RAD Cerebral Palsy?

Camp RAD Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a home-based, hybrid summer camp designed for adolescents with cerebral palsy. Camp RAD CP uses an interdisciplinary approach that utilizes an interdisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians at the University of Georgia and Georgia Southern University. We focus on teaching campers life skills, physical activity skills, and other healthy living skills while having fun.

All supplies and equipment will be provided for camp. Pre and post-camp orientation and assessments will be performed in Athens, Georgia, or Statesboro, Georgia.

Who is eligible for Camp RAD Cerebral Palsy?

Camp RAD CP is open to adolescents ages 12-21 in Gross Motor Functional Classification System (GMFCS) levels 1-3.

When is Camp RAD Cerebral Palsy?

Camp will begin June 14, 2021 and end July 23, 2021.
