Radiologic Sciences Program Degree Goals and Mission Statement

Mission Statement

Consistent with the mission of Georgia Southern University and Waters College of Health Professions, and embracing a culture of diversity and collaboration, the Radiologic Science Degree will provide students with a quality education that will prepare graduates to excel in the allied health disciplines of Cardiovascular Interventional Science, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Sonography. This is achieved by providing classroom, laboratory, and practical clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings in order to promote patient care safety and serve the workforce needs of local, state and regional communities according to the quality standards of the individual *programmatic accreditors associated with each discipline.
