Sport Management Program Nationally Ranked
Georgia Southern University’s online Master of Science in Sport Management has been named one of the nation’s top schools for an online sport management degree by the website CollegeAffordabilityGuide.org.
College Affordability Guide examined every university in the country with online degrees in sport management or a related discipline. To be included in the ranking, universities had to have a not-for-profit status and a minimum enrollment of 500 students. The rankings also examined the financial cost of the universities as well as what happens to the student once he or she is enrolled in the program.
The 36-credit hour program, housed in the Waters College of Health Professions, is designed to provide academic preparation and practical experience in the skills and techniques necessary to be successful in the sport business and leisure field. Students are able to earn their degree in as little as 24 months, or as their schedule permits.
