Dr. Rundio’s research focuses on how sport experiences can change lives, in particular looking at extraordinary experiences and personal transformations. By understanding these experiences, researchers and organizations can develop programs that result in desired outcomes.  Her previous projects have examined cross-country cyclist experiences and their personal transformations, collegiate sport club participant experiences and outcomes, as well as differences among cause-related and non-cause-related sport participants.
