Athletic Training

Location: Statesboro Campus

The Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), prepares you with the knowledge and experience to qualify for entry-level work in certified athletic training.

Exercise Science

Location: Statesboro Campus

With a major in Exercise Science, you’ll be prepared for advanced studies in medicine or rehabilitation sciences, or for a career in fitness centers, research laboratories, or as an exercise technician in a cardiac rehabilitation center.

Health Sciences

Location: Armstrong Campus

The Health Sciences program is composed of five areas of emphasis to prepare you for a variety of careers and graduate study in the health industry: General Health ScienceHuman Performance/Fitness ManagementHealth Services AdministrationGerontology and Health Informatics.

Gerontology Certificate

Location: Armstrong Campus

The Gerontology undergraduate certificate program provides you with a multi-disciplinary background in aging by getting you directly involved with older adults in the form of community service, projects and practicum experience.

Nutrition and Food Science

Location: Statesboro Campus

Our Nutrition and Food Science programs allow you to specialize your degree within Community Nutrition, Food Science/Food Systems Administration, and Dietetics. Your studies will prepare you for work in fields including food safety and management, food marketing, medical nutrition therapy, and advanced food science.

Sport Management

Location: Statesboro Campus

The Sport Management Bachelor of Science program explores the professional side of sports (commercial, managerial and legal) and provides you with academic preparation and hands-on training for success in a highly competitive field.
