The Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), prepares you with the knowledge and experience to qualify for entry-level work in certified athletic training.
The Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education has recently mandated that all Athletic Training programs must result in granting students a Master of Science in Athletic Training. In preparation for this, Georgia Southern University will not accept students for admittance into the undergraduate Athletic Training program after Fall 2019. Georgia Southern is currently working on plans to transition to a Master of Science in Athletic Training.
