Post-Professional Athletic Training

Georgia Southern University’s two year post-professional graduate Athletic Training program provides you with a complete core curriculum supplemented by areas of intensive study.
Exercise Science
Location: Statesboro Campus
Georgia Southern University’s graduate Exercise Science program is designed for students interested in advanced and specialized study in the biophysical aspects of exercise.
Dietetic Internship Programs
Location: Statesboro Campus
Georgia Southern University offers two paths designed to prepare you for a career as a registered dietitian. Choose between our Dietetic Internship Certificate program or Combined Master of Science in Nutrition and Foods and Dietetic Internship. Graduates of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and (ACEND) Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) are eligible to apply to the Georgia Southern DI program.
Sport & Exercise Psychology
Location: Statesboro Campus
Georgia Southern University’s Master of Science in Kinesiology with a sport & exercise psychology concentration integrates science and application in mental skills training and life skills development. Designed for students interested in applied work and/or research in the sport and exercise psychology discipline, the degree is grounded in the fundamentals of the scientific process and theory for research and supervised applied work within individual and group/team environments.

Physical Education

Georgia Southern University’s graduate Physical Education program emphasizes current pedagogical thinking, research, and teacher effectiveness in physical education to produce instructors who can integrate research and theory into teaching practice. The program is designed for those students who currently have a clear renewable teaching certificate in Health and Physical Education.
Coaching Education

Georgia Southern University’s graduate Coaching Education program is a 14-month program taught by full-time Georgia Southern University faculty with coaching experience and offers fully online courses in performance enhancement, coaching administration, athletic training and coaching effectiveness.

Georgia Southern University’s Master of Science in Athletic Training prepares students to enter the profession of athletic training.
