Dr. Rich’s research explores issues relating to sponsorship and endorsement. Within the area of sponsorship, his focus is currently on understanding differences in sponsorship effects among industry categories, both related to product/service characteristics and subsequent differences in leveraging (e.g. on-site activation, social media activation, advertising, CSR, etc.). Additionally, Dr. Rich is interested in studying the common but minimally investigated sponsor-agency-property relationship as it functions in sponsorship leveraging and activation.
