Statesboro Campus


Athletic Training

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (BSAT). The BSAT is a highly selective, three-year professional program with a limited number of students (approximately 20) admitted annually.


Exercise Science

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a major in exercise science with one of five areas of concentrations – allied health and graduate school, inclusive physical activity, fitness and wellness management, sport performance, and tactical strength and conditioning.


Nutrition and Food Science

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Bachelor of Science with a major in nutrition and food science with one of three areas of emphasis – dieteticsfood science and food systems administration, and community nutrition.


Sport Management

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Bachelor of Science with a major in sport management with on of three areas of concentrations – marketing and revenue generation, sport development concentration and athletic administration concentration.

Health Sciences

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Bachelor of Health Sciences with one of five areas of emphasis– health services administration, health sciences (generalist), human performance/fitness management, gerontology and health informatics.


Gerontology Certificate

The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology offers a Gerontology undergraduate certificate.
