Much like the action on the field or court, competition for careers in the sport industry is hyper-competitive. The Sport Management program at Georgia Southern is one of the oldest in the United States with alumni leading sport organizations regionally, nationally, internationally. Our program provides students with foundational knowledge in management, marketing, finance, law, policy development and event management, while providing opportunities for students to get hands-on training in athletic administration, revenue generation, and sport development. Throughout their time in the program, Georgia Southern sport management students receive opportunities to gain experience and network with industry professionals, giving them the insight and knowledge to be successful upon graduation.
