The School of Nursing at Georgia Southern University offers the following baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral programs and degrees:


The School of Nursing is committed to helping meet the needs of the multicultural rural populations of the region by providing high quality nursing education programs. The nursing programs incorporates high academic and ethical standards and a caring, learning environment for students consistent with the mission and objectives of the university. We are dedicated to graduating nursing professionals who are leaders and capable of meeting the health care challenges of the 21st century. Both the undergraduate and graduate curricula have innovative classroom, clinical, and community experiences to prepare students to promote the health of populations. The (baccalaureate degree program in nursing/master’s degree program in nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice program and/or post-graduate APRN certificate program) at Georgia Southern University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. All prelicensure programs are fully approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Georgia Southern University is accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
