Nursing Student Recognized

Georgia Southern University’s School of Nursing recognized 38 nursing students from the Statesboro Campus and 79 nursing students from the Armstrong Campus for their accomplishments this past December. Graduating students were recognized in two separate Nursing Awards and Recognition Ceremonies where they received their nursing pin welcoming them into the profession. Additionally, each campus awarded students with individual awards. The following students were honored with an award:

  • Em Olivia Bevis Spirit of Nursing Award-Armstrong Campus: Jennifer Donovan Didonato
  • Outstanding LPN Student-Armstrong Campus: Katie Futch
  • Outstanding Clinician-Armstrong Campus: William Counselman
  • Outstanding Scholar-Armstrong Campus: Jennifer Donovan Didonato
  • Outstanding Scholar-Statesboro Campus: Harper Lewis
  • Outstanding Clinician, Em Olivia Bevis Spirit of Nursing Award and Most Inspiring (Peer Award)-Statesboro Campus: Harper Lewis
  • Most Professional Student (Peer Award)-Statesboro Campus: Rachel Mixon
  • Most Caring (Peer Award)-Statesboro Campus: Harper Lewis
