Master of Science in Nursing Education
The Master of Science in Nursing Education is designed to prepare individuals for academic careers in nursing education. Emphasis is given to developing expertise in the theory and practice of teaching and learning in nursing education. Students develop, implement and evaluate curriculum and educational programs, and are prepared for the faculty roles of teaching scholarship and service. Contemporary educational approaches include developing pedagogies for teaching nursing in traditional, hybrid and online formats. The program is 36-credit hours including 320 applied clinical hours and is designed to be completed in two academic years.
