Pre-requisites for ASHA Certification

Student should complete foundation courses in each of the following areas, as needed (name/course number required):

Undergraduate courses from baccalaureate program may be evaluated for appropriateness.

  • Biological Science (Science of living things- Biology, Human Anatomy, etc.)
  • Physical Science (Science of non-living things- Physics, Chemistry, etc.)
  • Social Science (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, etc.)
  • Statistics
