Tactical Athlete Certificate (TAC)
The Tactical Athlete Certificate is for active duty, national guard and reservists only and is comprised of three, hybrid college courses aimed at teaching injury prevention principles in an effort to decrease injury risk and maximize physical performance. Total certificate is 9 credit hours and all credits can be applied towards a Bachelor of Science with a major Rehabilitation Sciences degree.
Undergraduate Tactical Strength and Conditioning Concentration with Exercise Science BS Degree
Georgia Southern University’s Exercise Science BSK with a concentration in tactical strength and conditioning prepares students to work with members of police, fire, SWAT or military organizations in the areas of strength and conditioning.
Students enrolled the program will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning session throughout their study. Students are provided the opportunity to observe current worksite wellness programming for fire departments and police departments as well as gear up and experience mock field demonstrations with both departments.
